Individual tax preparation, done by a credentialed advisor.

We prepare the full 1040 for people whose lives don't fit on a one-page 1099. W-2 with equity comp, side income, rentals, investments, foreign accounts — handled by an Enrolled Agent, not a walkthrough wizard.

What's included

The return, plus every form it needs.

A flat-fee engagement covers your full 1040 package — federal and one state, filed electronically. Additional states, K-1s, and complex schedules are quoted transparently before work begins.

Questions

Common questions on individual returns.

What documents will I need to upload?

The client organizer lists every form relevant to your situation — W-2s, 1099s, brokerage summaries, K-1s, HSA/IRA contribution records, and any closing documents from property transactions. You'll get it in the portal the day you engage.

Can you file an extension?

Yes. If you engage us before April 15, we file Form 4868 as a courtesy at no additional cost. Extensions extend time to file, not time to pay — we'll also estimate and remit any balance due.

Do you handle both spouses' returns when only one has complexity?

Yes. The engagement covers the household 1040 whether you file jointly or separately. If MFJ vs. MFS changes the math, we run both and show you.

What if I already filed and missed something?

We prepare amended returns (1040-X) on a flat-fee basis. If you're within the three-year statute, recovering missed deductions or correcting wash-sale errors is common and worthwhile.

Can you represent me if the IRS follows up later?

Yes. As Enrolled Agents we hold full authority to represent you in audits, collections, and appeals — federally and in most states.
